The S2000Win Service Dispatch Software scheduling “DBoard” is the “working hub” of the S2000Win Field Service Management Software. The S2000Win service dispatch “DBoard” was first designed and implemented in 1987 and has been improved and upgraded on an annual basis. The scheduling dispatch board simplifies and increases the speed of taking customer calls, scheduling, dispatching, and answering questions for customers and techs with simple point and click. This is a very important feature for any company using service software. A variety of key functions can be performed from one or multiple dispatch scheduling boards, including work order entry, assignment and reassignment, history, time stamping, status, scheduling, purchase order creation, invoicing and more. The intuitive design of S2000Win makes the DBoard one of the most powerful tools available for your service company. There are two styles of service dispatch software Dboards provided with your S2000Win software: the Time-Slot Dispatch Scheduling Board and the Classic Dispatch Scheduling Board as shown below.

- One-click to visually view that customer’s complete customer history. Review every open and closed work order; every piece of that customer’s equipment including warranty information and equipment notes; unlimited customer notes for quick reference.
- One-click to begin taking a new service call using the Call Wizard. The unique Call Wizard provides an easy to use step-by-step call taking process for the dispatcher. The resulting service calls always appear on the dispatch board eliminating Dropped Calls.
- The service dispatch software Dboard – Dispatch board provides a powerful yet simple drag-and-drop tool for scheduling your open work orders. Please refer to the Dboard information sheet for more easy to use features.
- A Four (4) Week Schedule view is provided to assist in load leveling. The starting date of the view may be any future date. The user may restrict the data view by specifying any number of filtering parameters.
- The service dispatch scheduling board provides color-coded priorities also make it easier for the dispatcher to identify which calls need to be scheduled quickly. These priorities are user definable and may be edited to match your organization’s needs. Numeric time slots assigned to work orders may be optionally displayed in a large, semi-transparent font for ease of manipulation by the dispatcher.
- The S2000Win service management software “DBOARD” provides the ability to zoom in or out so that the display is tailored for each dispatcher’s preferences. Zooming out allows a greater number of technicians and work orders to be displayed, but also reduces the font size accordingly. As the font reduces below a certain minimum size, a Windows tool tip provides most of the cell information in an expanded font for easy reading. The service dispatch board cell size and other preferences are saved by logged in user so that they don’t have to be reselected each time the application is launched.
- The service scheduling software also provides a time-based dispatch service software DBOARD which will arrange assignments by their scheduled start time and size them according to their estimated time rather than stacking them in time slot/priority order.
